It is a psychological term used to indicate that a person responds to the circumstances or environment in an appropriate and adaptive manner. This response is generally learned rather than instinctive, and is not determined by one՚s age. Definition: Moral development refers to the process through which children develops the standards of right or wrong within their society based on social and cultural norms and laws.

In other words, Moral development is the changes in the capacity to reason about the rightness or wrongness of various actions that occur with age.
