Common assessment and evaluation tool used in schools and universities is known as examinations and there are many types of examination questions.

Types of Examinations or Tests

  • Multiple-Choice Tests: These are made of one question (stem) with multiple possible answers (choices) . Choices have a correct answer among several incorrect answers (distractors) .
  • True-False Tests: These are statements with the student being challenged to find if the statement is true or false. E. g. , Question: True-false questions have only 2 possible answers (Answer: True) .
