Causes for the Decline of Mughal Empire

Jagirdari Crisis

  • Mansabdari and Jagirdari were the top and core state officials in Mughal period. Mansabdars, who holds mansab were paid in jagirs (revenue assignments) . Troopers was there to assist them in revenue collection.
