Alternating Current
Alternating current is known as AC current. In circuit direction of current is constantly reversed. In our house the electric current is alternating current. This current is comes from the power plant to our homes and offices. The direction of current is switching back and forth 60 times in a second. AC power is much more economical to produce and use than DC power. AC voltage over DC voltage is that can be easily converted from one voltage to other by means of transformer.
