Teritary Structure of Protein: Forces That Hold Protein in Teritary Structure
Teritary Structure of Protein
Fig 1.3 d structure of protein
The term “tertiary structure” refers to the entire three-dimensional conformation of a polypeptide. Perception of secondary structure of protein in 3-d shows how secondary structural elements like helices, sheets, bends, turns, and loops- assemble to form domains and how these domains relate spatially to one another. The function of a protein depends on its Teritary structure of protein. If this is disrupted then it looses its activity.
