Nigali-Sagar
- Located near Lumbini, Rupandehi district, Nepal.
- This inscription gives reference to the repairs and expansions that took regarding the size of the previous stupa (pillar was referred to as stupa) of Buddha called the Konakama in 254 BC, the personal visit of Emperor Ashoka and his offering of prayer in 249 BC.
- The Chinese pilgrims Fa-Hien and Hiuen-Tsang describe the Konakama Stupa and the Asoka Pillar in their travel accounts. Hiuen Tsang speaks of a lion capital atop the pillar, now lost.
Allahabad Pillar (Ashoka Stambha)
- This pillar has Ashokan inscription as well as inscriptions attributed to Samudragupta and Jahangir.
