Passage

Cotton production has decreased by 10 % in India. This has happened because the demand of cotton in the world market has considerably decreased by last year September, 2011. And as a result, farmers took to cultivating other crops. But the benefits of this scenario is, those who cultivate cotton and make yarn get high prices for their sales. Some yarn manufacturers have even benefitted as they had stored previous year low priced cotton. The combined effect of all this is evident in the rise in net profits and net margins of yarn manufacturers.
