  • Recycled by plants
  • Removed from soil system via leaching

  • Chelation: Chelation is the formation of two or more separate coordinate bonds between multiple bonded ligand and single central atom. It explains combination of minerals cations with hydrocarbon molecules. Such hydrocarbons are called complexing agents or chelates.
